Dover Woman Sues Drug Maker for Fraud

DOVER — A Garrison City woman is suing a pharmaceutical company in Strafford County Superior Court alleging the company engaged in fraud by bribing prescribers to prescribe a powerful fentanyl drug and for violating the states’ consumer protection laws.

Colleen Perry of Danielle Lane in Dover filed the suit against Insys Therapeutics, Inc. last week through her attorney Michael Rainboth of Coughlin, Rainboth, Murphy & Lown. She seeks compensatory damages determined by a jury for alleged “wanton, willful, malicious and reckless conduct,” according to the suit.
