Another lawsuit has been filed in New Hampshire involving the powerful painkiller Subsys, which is at the center of a nationwide investigation.
A former physician assistant in Dover is awaiting trial in federal court for allegedly taking kickbacks to prescribe the drug, which is considered much more powerful than heroin. The founder of the drug company that makes Subsys is facing federal racketeering charges.
The latest lawsuit in New Hampshire was filed by Jeffrey Kyle, a 54-year-old father of six from Dover. He and his wife are working with federal investigators on the upcoming trial.
