IF YOU WERE PRESCRIBED SUBSYS, PLEASE CALL US NOW. YOU MAY HAVE A CASE AGAINST THE MANUFACTURERS OF SUBSYS AND MAY BE ENTITLED TO COMPENSATION.
Subsys is a fentanyl based oral spray designed to manage breakthrough cancer pain. In 2012, the FDA approved Subsys only for cancer patients who have developed a tolerance to opioid therapy. Susbys should never be prescribed to patients who do not have cancer.
The drug’s manufacturer, Insys Therapeutics, Inc., has aggressively marketed the painkiller not only to oncologists, but to other doctors who do not regularly treat cancer patients. As a result, Subsys has been prescribed to many patients without cancer, who then grew dependent on the powerful painkiller which is fifty times more potent than heroin.
On December 8, 2016, the FBI arrested several Insys executives on charges that they were part of a nationwide conspiracy to push doctors to unnecessarily prescribe Subsys to patients who did not have cancer. The FBI’s investigation of Insys continues. If you have contacted the FBI, or have been contacted by them, CALL US TODAY at (603) 431-1993.
Attorney Michael P. Rainboth has filed several lawsuits against the manufacturers of Subsys, and our firm is investigating several other suits. If you have been prescribed Subsys, call us now at (603) 431-1993.
