Effectively Presenting a Divorce Trial
In New Hampshire
2001 Family Law Forum

March 16, 2001

Recognizing the increasing number of family law practitioners within its ranks, the NHTLA, renowned as the expert in CLE programs in New Hampshire, offers this program as a follow-up to last year’s successful first ever seminar involving divorce and family law issues. The speakers are all experienced and highly regarded New Hampshire practitioners. In addition, several Marital Masters will be on hand to listen to the program, offer their comments, and provide an invaluable forum to answer questions from the registrants.

This unique program will present a day-long, in-depth analysis of certain aspects of a typical divorce trial in the New Hampshire Superior Court, presenting both a clinical demonstration and a practical discussion of various segments of the trial. Expert witnesses such as a guardian ad litem and a business valuation appraiser will offer their insight on the preparation and the conduct of an effective trial presentation. Registrants will receive valuable forms, discovery materials and various selected pleadings in order to maximize this valuable learning opportunity. While the practice pointers are presented, counsel and participants will discuss the topics in-depth and the Marital Masters will comment upon the presentation. You will receive valuable information and strategies on such issues as custody, visitation, child support, alimony, and equitable property division. Other areas of discussion include retention and management of experts for trial, appropriate valuation methods and helpful trial techniques. This seminar is a must for all domestic practitioners, whether seasoned trial lawyers or less experienced family law attorneys.
