• Note: The Marital Masters listed in this program have been invited to participate for the entire day, judicial responsibilities permitting, so that their involvement will not be limited to the above times, and will instead be welcomed and encouraged throughout the seminar.
Continuingly mindful of the increasing number of family law practitioners within its ranks, the NHTLA, renowned as the expert in CLE programs in New Hampshire, offers this now annually held seminar involving divorce and family law issues. The speakers are all experienced and highly regarded New Hampshire practitioners. In addition, Marital Masters will be on hand to listen to the program, offer their comments, and provide an invaluable forum to answer questions from the registrants.

This unique program will present a day-long, in-depth analysis of topical issues in the practice of domestic relations. Attendance at this annual CLE has in the past been very high and this CLE has been extremely well received and evaluated by the attendees. Registrants will receive valuable forms, helpful discovery materials and various selected pleadings in order to maximize this constructive learning opportunity. While the practice pointers are presented, counsel and participants will discuss the topics in-depth and the Marital Masters will remark upon the presentation.

You will receive helpful information and instructive strategies on handling such issues as changes in the law of child support, alimony and miscellaneous child-related expenses; effectively representing clients involved in fault based proceedings and applying the statutory factors of asset distribution; investigating and discovering the assets and incomes of parties and appropriately using experts; and how to effectively implement mediation. Other areas of discussion include how to effectively represent parties at temporary hearings and how to gauge the incidence of inherited wealth and potential future inheritances when considering the distribution of the marital estate.

This seminar is a must for all domestic practitioners, whether seasoned trial lawyers or less experienced family law attorneys.
